its burning oil and it wont stop burning i drove it and put about 50 miles on it since i put the new intake manifold gasket in, i though it was water traped in the cylinder but that would of burn off by now iam hoping the block is ok and hoping that its the valve stem. i checked my spark plugs and they are black at the tip thats a sign of burning oil. have any idea what i should do?

hello i have a carb ford 351 complete long block with a somthing 50 tranny i dont know much about these motor... well here's the story about the motor... we bought a 75 240z,, to my surprise with a ford v8 in it... my goal was to drop in a 2jz... so the motor came out and a 2jzgte is going in... . the motor started before i bought the car ( we had to drive it to move it out of his place. ) from what i heard probably need to adjust/replace floaters other then that... ran good... for that brief ...

i had eagle thermo intake manifold gasket it works and all but it was badly design. port on head to manifold for water to flow through were too big. it got hot and it warped on me and all that preasure cause water to shoot out from bettween the head gasket and manifold. also cause water to get into my cylinder and made lots of smoke and hopfully didnt damage any thing. iam in the process of burnning all that shit that was sucked up by my cylinder and hoping that its not oil that is causing smoke ...
